Hello everyone, welcome back to recipes tried and true. Today i will be sharing with you a healthy version of an international dessert. I will be sharing how to make chocolate and vanilla pancakes at home without maida or egg.
Pancake is a flat and thin, round-shaped cake recipe prepared mainly with wheat flour, milk and butter. the recipe is prepared very similar to south indian dosa recipe and is cooked by spreading the pancake batter on a frying pan. pancakes are generally served for breakfast and are usually topped with fruit jam, honey, cream cheese and dry fruits.
There are several variations and varieties to this hugely popular pancakes recipes. each country across the globe has its own variations and style which varies with its thickness, way of preparing and of course with its servings.
These pancakes are made using khand. Khand is natural granulated sugar with honey like taste. It is a source of whole food that provides necessary vitamins and fibers. Khand provides a lot of energy that helps in maintaining the body stamina. It brings the electrolytes in the body to equilibrium and is also an instant source of muscle repair.

For Vanilla pancakes-

Milk - 250 ml +1.5 cup
Vinegar - 2 tsp
Wheat flour - 1 Cup
khandsari / Powdered Sugar - 1/2 cup
Baking Powder - 1 tsp
Vanilla Essence - 1 tsp
Honey - 2 tsp
Oil/Butter - 1/4 Cup
A Pinch of salt

For Chocolate pancakes-

Milk - 250 ml +1.5 cup
Vinegar - 2 tsp
Wheat flour - 1 Cup
khandsari / Powdered Sugar - 1/2 cup
Baking Powder - 1 tsp
Cocoa Powder - 1/4 cup
Honey - 2 tsp
Oil/Butter - 1/4 Cup
